SQUASH, a campaigning organisation for the rights of squatters, are holding their second public meeting on July 13th in the House of Commons. The meeting will be chaired by John McDonnell and will discuss the new Government consultation on proposals to 'criminalise squatting'.
Squash would like as many people there as possible to strengthen the campaigning network and show support against the consultation and the newly proposed legislation.
For more information, please see the SQUASH website at www.squashcampaign.org
The Squash briefing 'Why we can't criminalise our way out of the housing crisis' is available here.
